Mino has been a professional circus artist, dancer and performer for over ten years. Shortly after discovering the ropes, he felt a desire to combine the aesthetics and techniques of shibari with circus and theater scenes. On the road he encountered Bdsm, Kink and the trance-like power of a rope scene.
Always in training, he draws on each experience to integrate it into his practice and do shibari in the best possible physical and psychological posture.
Ninon is a ceramist and basket maker. On her arrival in Marseille she meets Mino and the shibari.
Mino & Ninon experiment with string playing, danced with few strings.
They have been teaching at the Corderie for 3 years.
The objective of this course is to master the essential figures of shibari, to learn to manipulate your partner in the ropes, to anticipate and manage emotions, we will also talk about the construction of a session (dramaturgy, negotiation, consent and incident management).
The course content will evolve depending on the level of the participants.
The educational desire is to use all its tools to create interdisciplinary courses touching on both pure rope technique and body manipulation coming from martial arts massage or dance. But also aesthetic, emotional, psychological and philosophical concepts will be addressed.
Prerequisites:
None (knowing a self-locking knot is a plus).
